Paul Kinard died March 27, 2011 at the Barnwell County Hospital.
Funeral service was March 30 at the Barnwell First Baptist Church with Revs. Keith Richardson and Lee Clamp officiating. Burial was at the Barnwell Memorial Cemetery at the Airport with Masonic rites. Mole Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Kinard was born January 11, 1930 in Bamberg County. He was the son of the late Owen G. and Mattie Gohagen Kinard. He was predeceased by brothers, Grady Kinard, Leighton Kinard and George Kinard. He retired as a supervisor with 43 years services from The Savannah River Plant. He was an active member of the Barnwell First Baptist Church where he served on many committees. He was a member of Harmony Masonic Lodge #17.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Hoover Kinard of Barnwell; daughter, Jeanna Paulette Kinard of Barnwell; son Richard Paul (Kim) Kinard of Denmark; brothers, Marial (Maude) Kinard of Olar, James (Emaline) Kinard of Las Vegas Nevada, Neeley (Jean) Kinard of Barnwell; sisters Peggy (Joe) Dyches of Barnwell, Barbara Ann (John) Drisko of Conway, Rosa Kinard of Olar; grandchildren, Franklin Paul "Rich" Kinard and Elizabeth Joyce (Joy) Kinard, two great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Elevator Fund at Barnwell First Baptist Church, 161 Allen St., Barnwell, SC 29812.
