Curtis was a native of Colbert County and a member of the Hopewell Church of Christ. He was president of the LaGrange Volunteer Fire Department and president of the Spring Valley Water System. He was an upstanding pillar of the LaGrange Community. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Frank and Maebell Harrison; grandparents, William and Sarah Harrison and John and Ruth McCollum; and sister-in-law, Charlotte King Graves.
Curtis’s survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Shirley Harrison of Leighton; sons, Anthony Harrison and wife Patricia of Muscle Shoals and Chris Harrison and wife Tricia of Russellville; brothers, Jack Harrison and Jerry Harrison and wife Doris all of Leighton; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be the LaGrange Fire Department Volunteers. Honorary pallbearers will be Caleb Harrison, Jacob Harrison, Armando Gomez, Billy Atchison and Ryan Zedrow.
