WADDELL, David “Duck”, 81, of Mechanicsville, VA went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 25, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents; Allie & Mary Waddell; and a daughter, Lisa Coates. Dave is survived by his devoted wife of 19 years, Cindy Waddell; son, David Waddell (Donna); daughter, Linda TenPas (Jan); son-in-law, Jim Coates; step- children, Trish Puhalski (Tom), and Mike Puhalski (Lisa); 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and his precious fur-baby Inky. Dave owned and retired from Machine Tools of Virginia. He was well known for his loud and infectious laugh. He loved hunting, fishing, and especially his hot-rods. Dave is a member of Northside Baptist Church. He was an amazing husband, as well as, a great father, grandfather, and friend. The family will receive friends, Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 1 - 4 pm at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy. Mechanicsville, VA 23111. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am, Monday, July 30, 2018, at Northside Baptist Church, 7600 Studley Rd., Mechanicsville, VA 23116, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
