Glenn C. Brown, 92, of Lewisburg, passed away Sunday, Nov. 23, 2003. Glenn retired from Parker-Hannifin Lewisburg Plant in 1975. Mr. Brown was a farmer in the Verona area for over 33 years, and worked for the Nestle Dairy in Greenville as a milk hauler for 25 years. He was a longtime active member of Verona United Methodist Church.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald G. and Joan Brown of North Carolina, Francis L. and Doris Brown of Lewisburg; a daughter and son-in-law, Connie M. and Warren "Dick" Smith of Texas; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 69 years, Evelyn E. (Hoffman) Brown, in 2000; his parents, Norman L. and Candis V. (Michael) Brown; brothers, Franklin, Walter and Lee Brown; sisters, Florence Hunt, Ruth Hunt, Gladys Munier and Esther Brown.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, at Kindred Funeral Home, 400 Union Blvd., Englewood, with the Rev. William Schilling officiating. Burial will be in Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of services on Wednesday.
