Rodney Lee Moore, 57 of Streator passed away Monday (July 23rd) at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Private family services will be held at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren Mason and Zoey Moore, his brother Don, brothers-in law, Mike Myers and Rick Jones. Pallbearers will be Eric and Chad Myers, Dustin Moore, Mark Harcar, Bob Carbone and Stu Spencer.
Rodney was born on May 18, 1961 in Spring Valley to Robert J. and Lila (Bates) Moore. He married Jane Jones on June 9, 1984. She survives.
Also surviving are son Brian (Katie) Moore and daughter Katie (Mark Harcar) Moore both of Streator, grandchildren Mason and Zoey, his mother Lila Moore of Streator, sister Doris (Mike) Myers of Streator, brother Don (Lisa) Moore of Streator and several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Rodney is preceded in death by his father, his in-laws Richard and Marita Jones.
He graduated from Streator High School in 1979 and was employed at Con Agra Foods for 39 years. Rodney enjoyed going to State Fairs and hanging out with family and friends.
Memorials may be made in his name to the Ronald McDonald House in Peoria.
