Ann was born to the late John P. Norvell and Myrtle Hawkins Norvell in Memphis, Tennessee. She lived most of her life in Atlanta, Georgia where she graduated from North Fulton High School, and attended Georgia State University. After moving to Louisville she served in the choir and Golden Oldies Club at Our Savior Lutheran Church. She enjoyed ballet and ballroom dancing and bowling. She was a retired typist for the Atlanta-Fulton County Sheriff's Office.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Sharon Lee Higginbotham.
Survivors include her daughter, and granddaughters
A memorial visitation will be held 3-7 p.m. Wednesday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road. A burial of her cremated remains will occur at a later date in Atlanta, Georgia.
