Golman Chitwood, 67, passed away at his home, Rt. 1, Harriman, suddenly Friday May 8, 1970. He was the son of the late William Marion Chitwood and the late Lucile Gastineau Chitwood, a member of the 2nd Bethlehem Baptist Church. Survivors, one daughters, Mrs. Jody Rudd of Knoxville; one sister, Mrs. Mona Chitwood of Oneida; four brothers, Edward Chitwood of Nashville, Harrison Chitwood of Oneida, Roe Chitwood of Jacksboro, Marshall Chitwood of Macon Ga. Funeral services were conducted from the 2nd Bethlehem Baptist Church 1 p.m. Monday May 11, 1970 with the Rev. Howard Walker officiating. Burial followed in the Chitwood Cemetery. West Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
