Obituary for Kenneth E. "Bo" Boling Sr.

Age 82, Born September 9, 1935 to Bruce and Mary Boling, passed away Sunday July 22, 2018 with his loving family by his side. Kenny fought a very long and courageous battle with cancer.

Kenny was retired from ABF Freight after many years in the trucking industry. He was a retired member of the Teamsters Local #89.

Kenny never met a stranger and was a friend to all. He was a member of St. Leonard Catholic Church for 54 years and served faithfully in many capacities. He served on the committee to renovate the church, was an usher, parish council member, Eucharistic Minister, adult server and member of the Rosary Group. He was also assistant Scout Master of Troop #319 at St. Marks Episcopal Church.

Kenny is preceded in death by his parents and six sisters. He is survived by his wife Marie, his daughters Connie McLaughlin (Kevin), Mary Jo Boling, Susan Norsworthy (Neal); sons, Kenneth “Skip” Jr. (Brenda), and John Boling; five grandchildren, Lindsay Boling, Kelsey McRay (Kam), Meredith Boling, Tanner Boling and Caroline Norsworthy; brothers, Don (Christine), Robert (Carolyn), and his beloved faithful fur buddy, Awggie and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be celebrated for Kenny at 11:00 AM Friday, July 27, 2018 at St. Leonard Catholic Church, 440 Zorn Avenue with burial at Cave Hill Cemetery.
