Mrs. Martha Hines, age 67 of Livingston, died Thursday, March 12, 2009 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. She was born in Harlan County, KY on Apr. 16, 1941 the daughter of George and Smarie Gibbons Wynn. She was a retired school bus driver for the Rockcastle County School System and was a member of the Faith Chapel Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by a son, Ernie Hines (Annette) of Mt. Vernon; two daughters, Tressa Chesnut (Robert) of Orlando and Joanie Compton (Chris) of Richmond; her mother, Smarie Wynn of Livingston; three brothers, Larry Wynn and Bobby Wynn, both of Livingston and Bruce Wynn of Orlando; and five sisters, Mae Howard and Magdalene Collins, both of Mt. Vernon, Dorothy Hines of Crab Orchard, Suzy Lovell of Livingston, and Leolla Hurley of Orlando. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Felecia Chesnut, Susan Chesnut, Lincoln Hines, and Hannah Compton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Hines; her father, George Wynn; two brothers, Eugene and Elijah Wynn; and two grandchildren, Michael and Angela Chesnut.
