MRS; GRANT DIES IN CUYAHOGA FALLS
Mother of Assistant Prosecutor Passes Away After Long Illness.
Succumbent of old age, hurried on by arterial sclerosis. Mra. Henry C. Grant, aged 75, wife of Henry C. Grant of Cuyahoga Falls and mother of Deputy Prosecutor Charles T. Grant, died this morning at 11:00 o'clock after being totally unconscious for the last five days. Mrs Grant is survived by her husband and five children, four sons and one daughter.
Born in 1837 at Avon, Livingston county. New York, Mrs. Grant's parents moved to Tallmadg, Summit county, when she, Sarah Saekett, was only four months old. Here she was reared and lived for many" years until the year 1861 when she married Henry C. Grant and since 1876 the family has lived in the old Grant homestead on Big Falls avenue, Cuyahoga Falls. After her marriage Mrs. Grant affiliated with the Congregational church and has been a faithful member of the local congregation.
Four sons, William D., Harry S., Charles T., and W. S. Grant, together with the husband and one daughter, Dorothy, survive the mother. Mrs. Grant has suffered from feeble health for some year (sic). All through her wedded life she has been a loving mother and faithful wife. The funeral arrangements have not yet been determined.
