Mrs. Shanna Taylor Bradley, age 48, of Escatawpa, MS passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018, in Pascagoula. Shanna was born on August 4, 1969 in Pascagoula to the late Cecil and Malva Taylor. She graduated from Washington County High School in Chatom, Alabama and was employed with Ingalls Shipbuilding and VT Halter Marine for many years. Her hobbies included reading, writing poems and short stories and spending time with her family. She had a heart of gold and her family was the most important thing to her. She loved without measure and her love was always given unconditionally. If you knew anything about her you knew that. She had a passion for writing poems that made her feelings come to life on paper. She will be greatly missed. This world lost a shining light. Her mother and sister welcomed her with open arms on Friday night and Heaven gained a precious angel. Shanna was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Betty Lou Mayberry, lots of aunts and uncles, cousins and grandparents. Survivors include her husband, Michael Rock, children, Samantha Malone, Brittney McKeown and Ashley Mizelle, grandchildren, Bridget Forehand, Cameron McKeown, Kaiden McKeown, Jordy McKeown, River McKeown, Jackson Mizelle, Jace Mizelle soon to be “Baby Shanna”, her siblings, Cecil Taylor, Melvin Taylor, Rickey Taylor, JoAnn Robinson, Cathy McLeod, Cynthia Ratliff, George Taylor and Joseph Taylor. She also loved her dog, “Baby”. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 26, from 10 am until 12 noon, with a 12 noon chapel service, all at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Vancleave #1 Cemetery.
