Funeral Services for Wilma Richards, age 86, of San Augustine, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2018, in the First Baptist Church, 502 East Columbia Street, San Augustine, Texas 75972, with Bro. Mike Belgard and Bro. Rick Russell officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, July 26, 2018, at the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, 316 West Columbia Street. San Augustine, Texas 75972.
Wilma Richards departed her earthly home in the White Rock community on July 23, 2018. Wilma was born on August 14, 1931 to Loy Neal and Marie Harris in the Isla Community of Sabine County Texas. She died at the age of 86.
Wilma loved her family, community, church and Lord. She was a lifelong member of White Rock Baptist Church. In her early days she worked various jobs including working at the local picture show and flower shop. Later in life she worked alongside her late husband C.B. on the farm they bought and grew together. Wilma loved being on the farm or in her flowerbed or garden.
She is survived by her Son, William C. Richards, Daughters Jenny Richards Lout, Julie Ann Richards and Daughter Anna Paige. Grandchildren Jennifer Lout Pickard and Calan Pickard and Great Grandson Kye Calan Pickard, and her sister, Joyce Brown.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents Loy Neal and Marie Harris and her husband of 54 years, C.B. Richards, her brother, Joe Benny Neal, Sister, Doris Ledbetter, and Son-in-Law, Shon Lout.
Serving as pallbearer are; John Fisher, Ray Hardy, Charles Boyett, Jack Nichols, Ronnie Jones, Monte Taylor, Lane Chambers, and Mark Pitts.
