She was born December 28, 1966, in Charleston, WV, a daughter of Linda Lou (Skiles) Powroznik and the late Dennis Frank Powroznik.
She is survived by two sons, Stephen Bruce Wagner, and Dennis Michael Wagner and fiance’ Patty Jean Frye of Clarksburg, and their father, Charles M. Wagner of Independence; one sister, Shelia Wright and husband Scott of Grafton; four nephews, J.C. Musgrove, Drew Musgrove, Zach Musgrove all of Grafton and Joshua Fortney of Morgantown; and one great-nephew, Bentley Lucas Bolyard.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one son, Franklin Robert Wagner; one sister, Lisa Powroznik Smith; and her paternal grandfather, Frank Powroznik.
Denise graduated from Grafton High School with the Class of 1985 and was a member of the Message of Freedom Church in Grafton.
She enjoyed her family, taking pictures, and enjoying the outdoors.
The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Wednesday, May 13th from 3:00-8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Thursday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Michael A. Stotlemyer officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Independence.
