Gary F. Chandler, 75, of Westford, Vt. was called home on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. Gary was born in Oneida, NY on June 23, 1941 to Gerry & Blanche Chandler. He lived in Chittenango most of his life and settled in Westford, Vt.

Gary was employed by Cooperative Feed Dealers out of Binghamton for 35 years, retiring in 2012. Gary never met a stranger and made friends easily, leaving a lasting impression on all those he touched. He loved all sports, but truly loved traveling, fishing, golf and the peaceful Green Mountains of Vermont. In Vermont he had a very special group of friends that cared deeply for him, and were a big part of his life. Surviving are his sons, Gary Chandler Jr. (Sharon) and Martin Chandler (Jenni), his sisters Barbara Chandler and Sylvia,his granddaughters Amanda Heuy (Joseph) and Alice Chandler, his grandsons, Gregory and Travis Chandler, great-grandchildren, Colton and Aira Heuy and additional family Eric, Wendy and Brian Durand.
Visiting hours will be 4-6 pm Friday, October 28th at the G.F. Zimmer Funeral Home, 702 Legion Drive, Chittenango. A Memorial Service in celebration of his life will take place 10:00 am Saturday October 29th at the funeral home with interment in Oakwood Cemetery, Chittenango following the memorial service.
