She enjoyed driving to NJ and DE beaches to collect sea glass and catch flounder, traveling to Chincoteague, VA to see the ponies, capturing pictures of the cardinals, doves and butterflies that would visit her backyard and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survived by her husband, Dale R. Henderson Sr. of 45 years; daughter, Barbara A. Counsellor and her husband Chris; son, Dale R. Henderson Jr. and his wife Rachel; daughter, Lori A. Henderson; and six grandchildren, Connor, Brianna, Anastasia, Jordan, Lily and Arabella; brothers, William N. Simpkins Sr. and George F. Webber Jr. and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her sister Carol A. Simpkins.
