Funeral Services celebrating his life were at 2:00PM Tuesday July 24, 2018 at Church Street Baptist Church, 3113 North Church Street, Greensboro, NC 27405. Burial followed in Lakeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
Terry was born November 30, 1963 in Greensboro, NC to Nancy Moody and the late Jerry Wayne Moody. He graduated from Northeast High School in 1982. He accepted the Lord as his Savior when he was 25 and later attended the Greensboro Bible Institute. Terry enjoyed a long career with US Food Service. He was also a Pastor of two churches in the Triad.
Terry enjoyed doing anything with his family, hunting, and attending dirt track races. His greatest passion was spreading the gospel and seeing others come to know Jesus Christ. His favorite verse is: John 6:37 “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Kerri Benton and husband Will, and Taylor Moody; sons, Rev. Jared Moody, and Blake Moody; mother, Nancy Moody; granddaughters, Marlee Benton and Leah Benton; sisters, Sharon Dalto and husband Jeff, and Trisha Hopkins and husband Wally; many nieces and nephews whom he loved.
