A farmer on Rural Route 6 out of Lebanon in Wilson County, James was 90 years old when he fell and broke his hip at home on December 15, 1944: He passed away on January 6, 1945 at Nashville General Hospital and was buried two days later in Barrett Cemetery in Lebanon.
