Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2018 in North Fairview Cemetery with Phil Collard, minister of the Church of Christ officiating. Arrangements are by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington.
He was born on June 8, 1940 in Shawnee, OK, to Donald F. and Juanita Neal Hickey. He graduated from Lubbock Monterey High School in 1958 and attended Texas Tech University before joining the U.S. Airforce where he served four years.
Don worked for GMAC for 18 years and then went to work at CARS Inc. in Detroit and later in Fullerton, CA.
He married Zenith Warrick on January 13, 2003 in Las Vegs, NV.
He was preceded in death by a brother David Hickey.
Don is survived by his wife Zenith Hickey of Wellington; 2 sons Jay Hickey and wife Virginia of Arlington and Mat Hickey of Dibble, OK; a daughter Tia Hickey of Dibble; 3 step sons Marty Warrick and wife Kathy of Wellington, Evan Warrick of Honey Grove and Jay Warrick and wife Tracy of Amarillo; 2 brothers Michael Hickey and wife Marilyn of Oklahoma City and Richard Baker and wife Cherry of Nacogdoches; a sister Donna Wilson of Edmond, OK; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorials be made to your favorite charity.
