Pam was born on August 8, 1948, in Kansas City, Mo., to Harold and Norma Lee (Brown) Barker. She graduated from high school in Kansas City and was an excellent mother and homemaker.
Pam was a very active member of the Hamilton United Methodist Church and sang in the choir. She was also active in the Hamilton schools when her sons were younger.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, David J. and Mavis Wetherington, and step-daughter, Betty Lee Mercer.
She married Jerry Mercer in Excelsior Springs in the spring of 1973. He survives of the home.

Funeral Service: 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at the Hamilton United Methodist Church, Family Life Center.
Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m., one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.
Interment: Highland Cemetery, Hamilton, Mo.
Memorials: to the Hamilton United Methodist Church.
