Dorothy Jean Grissom, a resident of Davis was born January 30, 1934 in Murray County, OK to Archie & Maggie (Thomas) Miller. She passed away Friday July 20, 2018 at Davis, OK at the age of 84 years 5 months and 20 days. Dorothy was married to Howell Don Grissom in Murray County in 1955. He preceded her in death in 2005. She had lived in Murray County most of her life. She attended Fairview schools before graduating from Davis High School. Dorothy had worked at Sooner Foods, also as a cook at Sulphur
Public School, and at Arbuckle Memorial Hospital. She and her husband Howell owned and operated Howell Motel in Sulphur for several years. Dorothy had been a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Sulphur since January 26, 1959. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son Ricky Grissom.
