Rose Myree Spencer, 89, of Angola, Ind. passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in Northern Lakes Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Angola.
She was born on Dec. 25, 1928 in Linton, to Herbert R. and Agnes (Sexton) Tincher. She attended Ball State University.
Rose married Gilbert L. Spencer on June 4, 1984.
She worked at General Motors and also at the Indiana State Highway Department in Angola before retiring.
Rose enjoyed golfing, traveling and eating out. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving is her loving husband of 34 years Gilbert L. Spencer of Angola; her son, Michael Raymond (Carol) Evans of Orlando, Fla. and two grandchildren, Megan Evans of Clearwater, Fla. and Kyle Evans of Orlando, Fla. Also surviving are Gilbert’s children, Gary (Velma) Spencer of Angola, and Brenda (Marlin) Bontrager of Ashley, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jim Tincher.
Services will be held at a later date.
