Chester Arthur Thompson, 102 of Bradfordsville, Ky. passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at the
Village of Lebanon.
He was a lifelong farmer and a member of the South Fork Presbyterian Church.
Preceded in death by:
Parents-- John Hilary Thompson and Virgie Buckman Thompson
Wife of 70 years --Lillian Abell Thompson
Also two grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren.
Surviving are:
Five Daughters-- Marlene (Melvin) Mullins – Lebanon, Ky.;
Lillie (Keith) Wright – Mt. Washington, Ky;
Bonnie (Danny) Cabell –Shelbyville, Ky.;
Connie (Larry) Carnell –Los Lunas, NM.;
Barbara Thompson—Lebanon, Ky.
Seven Sons -- Jerry (Guy) Thompson—Lebanon, Ky.;
Wayne (Nelda) Thompson—Campbellsville, Ky.;
Roger (Connie) Thompson –Campbellsville, Ky.;
Chester Thompson, Jr. –Bardstown, Ky.;
Kenneth (Ellen) Thompson –Bardstown, Ky.;
David (Carol) Thompson – Bradfordsviile, Ky.;
Mitchell (Kitty) Thompson—Bradfordsville, Ky.
Also surviving are twenty four grandchildren, forty six great-grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday July 24, 2018 at Bosley Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Alvin Wren, Dr. Michael Cabell and Rev. Bill Thompson, with interment in the Old Liberty Cemetery.
