A strong Christian woman who had an unquenchable thirst for the teachings of the Bible, she was a homemaker and Stretch Your Dollars leader at a church in Columbus. Charlotte retired from Neff Co., was a day care provider, and manager of the first newly opened Lighthouse Christian Bookstore and Dairy Bar.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Guy R. Cooper; sisters Martha Ott and Marion Foster; brothers William and Roy; brother- in-law James Foster and a great granddaughter, Leah.
Charlotte is survived by her eight children; 22 natural grandchildren and adopted step-grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters and 4 brothers; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Thursday at the Ingram Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery.
In Charlotte’s memory, contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in care of the funeral home.
