William J. Reichle, 95, passed August 13, 2017. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1921 and attended Ohio State until he served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII.
As a B24 bombardier/navigator, he was shot down over Austria in 1944 and served 15 months as a German POW.
He married, moved to St. Petersburg in 1951, and created Pinellas Adjustment Bureau wherein he paid insurance claims for over 50 years and served as a Special Master for Pinellas County.
The last portion of his life was committed to his family and the American Legion.
He is survived by daughter, Diane Deubler; sons, William Reichle III and Jim Reichle; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Ruth, and daughter, Judy.
