Mrs. John (Effie) Storts, 79, of Torrington, Wy, a former Redwood Falls resident, died Monday in Cheyenne, Wy.
Last rites have tentatively been set for 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Church of Christ in Redwood Falls. Interment will be in Redwood Falls cemetery.
Friends may call at Hoepner funeral home in Redwood Falls after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Effie Lester was born October 31, 1892 in Hawarden, Ia, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Lester. She married John Storts in Hawarden October 22, 1912. After living in Iowa a few years, they moved to Redwood Falls where he owned and operated an ice business for nearly a quarter of a century. In 1942 they moved to Madison, Wi, but spent much of the time with their children. Mr. Storts died in Madison April 17, 1962.
Survivors include children, Mrs. Clifford (Helyn) Arnett of Torringtron, Wy, Mrs. Donald (Bernice) Duncan of Ortonville, Mrs. Leonard (Evelyn) Rouse of Inverness, Fl, Charles Storts of Madison and Earl Storts of Minneapolis; 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
