Sandra Joy (Larsen) Becker, 75, of Cumberland passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 at her home after a courageous year long battle with cancer. She was born July 6, 1942 in Rice Lake, WI to Olaf and Jane (Ramsdell) Larsen, was raised in Rice Lake and graduated from Rice Lake High School. Over the years Sandy worked a variety of jobs, but she most enjoyed her time at the Thomas St. Angelo Library in Cumberland.
She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Just-Janssen (Van "Stan" Gruber) of Cumberland; sons: Kurt (Grace) Just of Pensicola, FL and Monte (Joy) Becker of Barron; her brother, Gaylon Larsen of Cumberland and sister, Florence Savina of Cumberland; 5 grandchildren: Chad, Ashley, Larsen, Cody, and Hunter; 5 great grandchildren: Jacob, Jackson, Jaymison, Lilly and Sophia; nieces and nephews. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers: Gary and Barry Larsen; 2 sisters: Bonnie Drost and Sheri Burkhart and 1 granddaughter, Amber Janssen.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, April 12th at Skinner Funeral Home in Cumberland with a time for the sharing of memories at 5:30 PM.
