Roy C. Huber, 50, Farmer, Expires

Roy Carrol Huber, 50, a Rush County Farmer, took his own life by a self inflicted shotgun wound Friday morning at 6 o'clock at his home, two miles north of Center Church on Route 1, Knightstown. His wife heard the shot and found her husband. Mr. Huber had been in ill health for the past two years.

A native of Ruch County, he was born May 24, 1903, and he was a son of Frank and Elsie Lyons Huber. Mr. Huber was a member of the Center Christian Church and the Odd Fellows at Dunreith.

In 1924, he married to Dorothy Dill who survives with two sons, Bryon Huber of Millville and A/2C Chase Huber of Okinawa; two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Murphy of Spiceland and Mrs. Joyce Poer of Knightstown; and six grandchildren.

Other survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Huber of Knightstown, and two sisters, Mrs. Clay Shields of Knightstown and Mrs. Gilbert Bullen of Richmond.

The Rev. A. F. Byrne of Anderson will conduct the rites Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Wyatt-Moore Memorial where friends may call beginning Sunday afternoon at 2. Interment will be in Glencove Cemetery at Knightstown.
