Patricia Ann (Achen) Larsen passed away April 12, 2018, in Bozeman, Montana.

She was born October 1, 1927, to Ernest and Bessie Belle (Thomas) Achen in Ord, Nebraska, where she was raised and attended school.

She graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Home Economics.

Patricia and William Edward Larsen were married for 65 years, residing in Bozeman since 1968.

She was a member of the Bozeman United Methodist Church, serving for a time as president of the United Methodist Women.

Patricia loved to work with textiles, and was an avid weaver, spinner, and knitter.

She was a long-time member of the Bozeman Weavers and Spinners Guild.

She created beautiful quilts to commemorate the weddings of her grandchildren and the births of her great-grandchildren.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents,

Ernest and Bessie Achen;

and two sisters,

Armona Beth (Achen)

Martin and Loretta Mae (Achen) Taylor.

She is survived by her husband,

William Larsen

and their children,

Susan Larsen,

and Ron (Priscilla) Larsen;

sister,

Joyce (Achen) Goff (Wayne);

brother,

Dean (Sonya) Achen;

five grandchildren;

and eight great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, July 9, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Bozeman United Methodist Church with

Interment to follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery.

A luncheon will be served at the Larsen home after the graveside service.
