James Edward Adams (Jim), 75, of Cold Spring, KY passed away on July 9, 2018. He was born on April 20, 1943 to John and Lillie Adams. Jim worked for Rock Tenn Paper Company for 46 years. He was a lifelong member of Church of Christ. He loved to work on cars in his younger years. In retirement, he enjoyed taking care of his yard, listening to music, building bird houses, taking care of his cat and watching his family grow. He will be deeply missed by his wife and high school sweetheart of 56 years, Patricia Adams. Sons; Jim(Dory) Adams, Jeff Adams and Jason Adams. Daughter; Julie (Bryan) Carter. Grandchildren; Emily (Matt) Madden, Aaron (Katelyn) Adams, Andrew Adams, Zac Carter, Katie Adams, Anna Carter and Peter Carter. Great grandfather of Hudson. Brothers; Mike Adams and Sister; Shirley Holt. He will be missed more than words can say. Visitation will be at Summit Church of Christ, 6015 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY. 41076 on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 5pm-6:30pm. Service will begin at 6:30pm at the church. Private burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery. Cooper Funeral Home is serving the family.
