Linda Sue Holder Merrick, 54, Evansville, Ind., formerly of Cadiz, died at 10:40am Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2002, at St. Mary's Hospital, Evansville, of natural causes.
Services will be at 1pm Saturday at Goodwin Funeral Home with burial to be in Merrick Cemetery, Caldwell County. Visitation will be from 2 until 8pm Friday.
A native of Logan County, she was born May 24, 1948, the daughter of the late Tom Perkins and Annie Retha McCarter Holder. She was a florist and was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Archie Merrick, Hatfield, Ind.; a son, Harvey Merrick, Hatfield; seven brothers, Billy Holder, Logan County, Tom Holder, Jr., Bryant, Edward, Wilber, Jerry and Ronald Holder, all of Cadiz; four sisters, Elizabeth Wright, Hopkinsville, Dorothy Miller and Patsy Edmonson, both of Cadiz, Marie Hibbs, Greenville, and two grandchildren.
