Marguerie G. Bundy, 95, of Fort Dodge, died Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at the Marian Home.

A service honoring Marguerie's life will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 27, at Christ Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Craig Miller officiating. Interment will follow in North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Memorials may be directed to the discretion of the family.

Marguerie G. Guderian was born March 19, 1922, in Gilmore City, Iowa, to Frederick and Minnie (Krie) Guderian. Marge graduated from Rolfe High School and Iowa State Teachers College (now UNI). She taught for six years at Lake Township and Ottosen Junior High Schools. Marge met her future husband while attending college. She married Eugene A. Bundy on April 21, 1946. They were blessed with four children.

She is survived by son Dean (Nancy) Bundy, of Fort Dodge; and daughters, Margene (James Jr.) Johnson, of Moorland; and Christine (Brent) Kopriva, of Cheyenne, WY; five grandsons, Shawn (Janelle) Kopriva, of Winter Park, FL; Tyson (Staci) Bundy, of Riverside, MO; Corey Kopriva of Fort Collins, CO; Kyle (Kristin) Bundy, of Kansas City, MO; and Cole (Danielle) Bundy, of Olathe, KS; and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Bernice Feaster, of Fort Dodge; and her brother, Harrold Guderian, of Lowry, MN; sisters-in-law, Delma Guderian, of Gilmore City; and MarJean Guderian of Pocahontas; and many nieces and nephews. Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, in 1990; son Douglas, in 1952, her parents, brothers, Julius Guderian, LeRoy Guderian, Frederick (Fritz) Guderian, and sisters, Hazel Jensen, Anna Applegate and Maria Guderian.

Marge was a charter member of Christ Lutheran Church. She served on many committees, taught Sunday School and was a regular attendant at church services and functions.

She loved to cook, read cook books and play cards. After moving to the Marian Home in May, 2015, she was involved in all their activities, especially putting puzzles together, bingo and dominos.

She will be missed by her family and the friends she made at the Marian Home.
