Denise attended Corpus Christi School ('73), Cathedral High School ('77), USF ('81 and Masters '83), and USC Doctoral Program ('91). Upon graduation she worked at St. Luke's Hospital, San Francisco, Seton-Coastside Hospital, Half Moon Bay and Seton Hospital, Daly City in various nursing and administrative positions. She also worked at CNA Insurance, San Bruno, as a Nurse Case Manager. Overall, Denise spent 30+ years in nursing. She enjoyed baking birthday cakes and traveling with family and friends. She was an avid 49er and USC football fan. Her greatest pleasure was being with her nephews. Denise was an active member of the Sacred Heart Board of Regents (past president), the Native Daughters of the Golden West (El Vesporal Parlor), and the OLV Mother's Club. Denise was a 24 year participant in the Susan G. Komen, 3-Day Walk which took her and friends all over the United States.
Friends may visit July 24, 2018 at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, Daly CIty, where a Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated July 25, 2018 at the Church of the Visitation, 655 Sunnydale Avenue, San Francisco. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
