Billy Ervin Butler, 80, of Morganton, passed away Friday July 20, 2018 at his residence following a period of declining health.
Mr. Butler was born on October 18, 1937 in Burke County to the late Coy Pink Butler and Annie Lou Hoyle Butler.
He was retired from the Town of Valdese, Public Works Department and was a member of United Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers; Dewey, Walter and Johnny Butler.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday July 28, 2018 in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service, with Rev. Tony Land officiating. Inurnment will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 3:00-4:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.
