Joshua Emerson
Gloucester - Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Petsworth Baptist Church for Joshua Emerson, who died the preceding Thursday morning at the Medical College of Virginia Hospital, Richmond, following an illness of several years. The Rev. Raymond L. Moore, pastor of Bellamy Methodist Church, conducted the service with interment in the church cemetery. Mr. Emerson is survived by his wife, Mrs. Georgia Emerson; three daughters, Mrs. John Keep, of New York City; and Miss Evelyn Emerson and Miss Katherine Emerson, of Gloucester County, and three sons: John, Reuben and Dennis Emerson, of this county.
