Marvin Kline Barnes, 72, of Milton, KY closed his eyes to this earthly home and opened them to his new heavenly home on Friday, July 20, 2018 at the Robley Rex Medical Center in Louisville, KY. He was born on December 8, 1945 in Milton, KY to the late Marvin Lee and Zylphia Nadine Westrick Barnes.
Kline attended services at the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Madison, IN where he loved his Lord and served his church faithfully. He served his country in the United States Army. Kline was a co-owner of Barnes Oil in Milton, KY. He worked tending the land, farming, and gardening.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his children, Stethanie Lynne Barnes Fox and her husband Gregory of Chattanooga, TN and Michael Kline Barnes and his companion Robin McKay of Canaan, IN; brothers, Leon Barnes and his wife Geneva of Milton, KY, Buford Barnes and his wife Wanda of Knoxville, TN; sisters, Doretha Brindley of Milton, KY, Virginia White of Milton, KY; grandchildren, Jonathan Barnes, Kristen Fox Watters (Austin), Shannon Barnes Coots (Kerry) and Kaitlyn Fox; great grandchildren, Tyler, Emily, Baylee Coots and Aydysyn Watters; and many family and friends all of whom will miss him dearly.
Kline is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 50 years, Saralee Moreillon Barnes who passed away on August 3, 2017; two brothers Norman and Norvel Barnes.
