Maurice Duane Rogers, 79, passed away July 17, 2018, in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was born May 1, 1939, in the Corinth community near Ash Flat, Arkansas, where he later owned cattle and worked on the family farm. He became an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Arkansas Razorbacks.

Maurice enjoyed 43 years of employment with Cooper Communities of Bentonville and was instrumental in the development of infrastructure projects in nine Cooper Communities where over 100,000 families own property today.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Glenda (Hamilton) Rogers; sister, Clayta Ballard; brothers, Kenneth and Clifton Rogers; and granddaughter, Christina Brewer.

Survivors include his wife of almost 57 years, Gail (Orr) Rogers; daughter, Robin (Jack) Curtis; son, Marc (Bridget) Rogers; grandchildren, Noah and Lucas Rogers; sister, Clella (Charles) Wiles; brother, Boyce (Nancy) Rogers; and a multitude of other relatives and good friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, July 21, in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow with Johnny Carter officiating. Burial will be in Wiles Cemetery at Ash Flat.

Pallbearers: Michael, Mitchell, Carlton, Cary, and Gary Rogers, and Clint Wiles.

Honorary pallbearers: Bill McKimm, Johnie Ray Hyslip, Mike Nix, and Weldon Rogers.
