SOUTH BEND – Ronald Joseph Knight, 69, residing in South Bend, Indiana passed away July 14, 2018 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend.

Ronald was born on May 14, 1949 in South Bend, Indiana to Percy L. and Dorothy (Greer) Knight, and has remained a lifelong resident of this area, graduating high school and attending college at IUSB. Ronald served our country in the United States Army and was later transferred to the United States Army Reserves. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War Conflict. He was honorably discharged, receiving the Rifle M-14 Expert Qualification Badge and the National Defense Service Award.

There will be no services. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan. Palmer Funeral Home River Park Chapel, South Bend, IN is making arrangements.
