Charlotte Laurine Coleman, age 70, of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. She was born on January 14, 1948 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Charles Earl Frazier and Maurine Jane Perry.

Charlotte was a member of Trinity Freewill Baptist Church. She worked as a cafeteria worker at Walton Ferry Elementary School in Hendersonville before becoming an attendance clerk with Nannie Berry Elementary School also in Hendersonville. Charlotte later went on to be a financial secretary with the Sumner County Board of Education.

She is survived by her husband Vernon Wayne Coleman; three sons, Ronald Coleman, Stephen Coleman and Christopher (Janet) Spann; a grandchild Jacey Spann.

Visitation will take place on Friday, July 20, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Madison. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 21, at 11 AM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with family receiving friends and visitors from 10 AM until the time of the funeral. Entombment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Charlotte’s memory to Alive Hospice @ 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203 or to Centerpoint Baptist Church @ 1002 Center Point Road, Hendersonville, TN 37075.
