Born in Oak Bluff, MA in 1933 she was the eldest daughter of Frank and Rose Lopes.
She graduated from Tisbury High School in 1951. After graduation she moved to Boston where she worked at Shawmut Bank before settling down to raise her family.
Ginny was an avid gardener and loved dancing and traveling. She was an active member of St. Joseph the Worker Church in Hanson since 1968.
Ginny married Bob in 2009 and for the last 9 years they enjoyed travelling all over the world. She was also the wife of the late Frederick Dunne and Arthur Foley.
Ginny was a former longtime resident of Hanson and the beloved wife of Robert Kearney.
In addition to her husband Bob, she is survived by her six children. Sister of the late Kathleen Silva.
