She was born in Chicago on January 30, 1939 to John and Libusa (Mayer) Jacobs. She married Terrence Tucker Sr. on November 9, 1957.
Mrs. Tucker was an avid Chicago Cub fan. She was known to keep a close eye on politics and history and was ready for conversation on either. She loved her coffee at Dunkin Donuts in Woodstock. She also enjoyed anthropology, archeology and geology. She also loved to garden.
She is survived by three sons, Terrence Tucker Jr., Patrick (June) Tucker and Sean Tucker; eight grandchildren, Stacey, Jim, Terrence III, Heather, Michael, Eric, Molly and Brett.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother, John Jacobs.
Visitation will be held at the Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home 1211 N. Seminary Ave. Woodstock on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. All other services will be private.
