Born in Liberty Hill, Texas, a son of Robert Lee Sr. and Bessie Medora Foster Nunn. He was the eldest of nine children. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by all of his brothers and sisters.

He was a United States Marine Veteran who served in WWII. He attended Point Remove Primitive Baptist Church in Russellville. He was the oldest of nine children.

Survivors include his wife, Anita Nunn; a son and daughter-in-law of Omaha, Nebraska; a daughter and son-in-law of Pottsville; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Point Remove Primitive Baptist Church with the Pastor Gary Harvey officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery in Pottsville and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00-6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
