Brian Michael Bailey, 49, of West Virginia, formerly of Pottstown, husband of Karen (Kennedy) Bailey, passed away Sunday July 15, 2018 at his residence. Born in Pottstown, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas C. Bailey, Sr. and Cynthia L. (Minnick) Bailey. He was preceeded in death by his youngest brother, Craig H. Bailey. Brian graduated from Pottsgrove High School in 1986, and served in the US Marine Corp. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Surviving along with his wife, Karen, is his daughter Brittany Maleigh; one brother Thomas C. Bailey, Jr. husband of Karen (Potpinko); in-laws John “Doc” and Maryann Kennedy; three sisters-in-law, Cheryl Kennedy, Jacqueline Kennedy, and Melissa Benner, wife of Andrew; six nieces and nephews, Brandon Bailey, Morgan (Bailey) Cox, Zachary Bailey, Reece Benner, Andrew Benner, and Rylee Benner; and his beloved cat Boo.

A funeral service will be held Saturday July 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 711 N. Franklin Street, Pottstown with Rev. Lee Hallman officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Cemetery, Phoenixville. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:30-10:45 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Brian’s memory to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430 or to your local SPCA.
