Funeral Service: 10:00 AM Friday, July 20, 2018 at Lake Shore Funeral Home.
Visitation: 9:00 AM Friday, prior to the service.

Mike was born May 23, 1955 to parents Dewey and Betty (Brock) Shannon in Chicago, Illinois.
Mike was an easy-going guy who enjoyed spending time with his brother hunting, fishing, prospecting for gold and doing anything in the great outdoors. He was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty (Brock) Shannon; and a very special nephew, Christian Shannon.
Mike is survived by his father, Dewey Shannon; brother, and sister-in-law, and sister and brother-in-law; and sister.
He is also survived by three daughters, ... He was also the proud grandfather of 10 grandkids.... Mike is additionally survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other beloved family members and friends.
Mike (Dad) will be dearly missed and forever loved until we unite again in Heaven.
