Anthony P. "Tony" Jordan, 64, of Herington, died Sunday, July 15, 2018 at his home in Herington. Tony was born Sept. 9, 1953 in Fairmont, West Virginia, the son of Darrell E. & Lupe (Jacquez) Jordan. Tony attended schools in Junction City.

Tony entered the U.S. Army in 1970 and was honorably discharged in 1972.

Tony was the owner/operator of Jordan Painting Co. for several years. He later was a contract painter on Ft. Riley.

Tony is survived by his parents Darrell E. and Lupe Jordan, Junction City; 2 brothers, Fred Jacquez, Winter Haven, Florida, and Jack Shaffer, Swanton, Maryland; a cousin, Charles Harper, Manhattan; and many nieces and nephews. Tony was preceded in death by a brother, Pat Shaffer.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery at Ft. Riley, Manhattan, KS. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army Honor Guard from Ft. Riley. The family will greet friends, Wednesday, July 18, 2018, 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Junction City Funeral Chapel, Junction City.

Memorial contributions may be made to Home Health Hospice of Dickinson County.
