MARSHALL, Ruth C. age 79, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018. Ruth graduated from Julienne High School in 1957, and then St. Elizabeth School of Nursing, where she retired. Ruth was a member of Incarnate Word Community and worshiped at Holy Angels Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Marshall, brother Bertrand Watts, and sister Angela Thorton. Survived by daughter Becky (Wes) Parker, 3 sons Tom (Sharon), John (Beth), Paul (Victoria), 19 grandchildren, a sister Miriam Marshall. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 23rd at Holy Angels Catholic Church 1322 Brown St. Dayton, OH 45409 by Father Greg Konerman. Interment Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 22nd from 3 to 6 p.m. at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. Dayton, OH. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hospice of Dayton or a charity of one’s choice in her memory.
