Funeral Services for Marilyn were held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Sunday, July 22, 2018, with Pastor Wally Hostetter officiating. Interment followed at the Taylor Cemetery. A Luncheon was held at the Weidman Masonic Lodge following the Committal Service.

Marilyn was the daughter of William and Margaret (Cumings) Westphal. She married Delbert Eugene Rankin on December 29, 1958, in California. Marilyn owned and operated Golden Needle Upholstery from 1982 until her retirement in 2018.
Marilyn enjoyed gardening but most importantly, she loved her family.
Marilyn is survived her children, Michael (Jill) Rankin of Mt. Pleasant, Kathleen (Gary) Anderson of Sanford, Belinda (Bill) Skriba of Mt. Pleasant, Pauline (William) Beutler of Weidman, Edward (Susanna) Rankin of Mt. Pleasant, and Matthew (Cassandra) Rankin of Nikinski, AK; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruth (Bill) Pressey of Sacramento, CA, and Peggy (Frank) Weaver of Long Praire, MN.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Rankin on September 18, 1999; parents; two sisters; and seven brothers.
