Mrs. Antonia Abraham, age 83, a pioneer resident of Butternut, passed away on Sunday following a short illness. The deceased was born in Saxon, Germany on Christmas Day in 1870 and came to this country in 1881. She resided in Spencer following which she moved to Butternut. She was married to Ferdinand Abraham on May 12, 1889 at Butternut. The body lay in state at the Hornby Funeral Home here until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and was then moved to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Butternut where 2 o'clock services were conducted by the Rev. Martin Dicke. Interment was made in Nola cemetery. Surviving are one son, William, of Cedarburg, Wis.; three sisters: Clara Besse, Mrs. Ida Vasha, both of Butternut and Mrs. Frieda Yankee, Rhinelander; and one brother; Paul Zoesch of Butternut.
