Sharon Kaye Jones Bowen, 62, made her journey to Heaven on Sunday, July 15, 2018. She was born in Pasadena Texas and lived in the Houston area all her life. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend. Although she had physical issues all her life, she had a positive and uplifting attitude to all she met. She is preceded in death by her parents Florine and Cameron Jones, sister Donna Marie Jones, maternal grandparents Jeff and Maggie Alexander; paternal grandparents Albah and Lacy Jones. She is survived in life by her son Jason Jones of Pasadena Texas, brothers Larry Jerdon and wife Jenny of Huntsville Alabama, Cameron Dale "Bull" Jones and wife Kathy Green of Conroe Texas and Jeffrey Lee Jones of Pasadena Texas; sisters Linda Harris of Waller Texas, Wanda Hamilton of Katy Texas and JoAnn Schulman and husband Harvey of Deer Park Texas. She also leaves behind aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Viewing will be at Deer Park Funeral Directors, 336 E. San Augustine, Deer Park Texas 77536 on Friday, July 20 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm; funeral services will follow. Graveside services will be on Saturday, July 21 at 11:00 am at Fairview Cemetery, 6296 TX-21, Nacogdoches Texas 75961 (behind Fairview Methodist Church).
