BECKLEY - Nicholas Brandon Harmon, 39 of Beckley, went to join his family in heaven on Sunday, July 15, 2018. He left us way to soon. He was a happy-go-lucky person on the outside but very private and sentimental on the inside. He was loyal to his friends and family and would always worry about them when they had troubles. He enjoyed the simple things in life and was always there to help when needed. He loved the state of West Virginia and was the Mountaineer's biggest fan.

He was blessed to be in a relationship with a wonderful person over his last years, Susan M. Stump of Sophia, along with her daughter, Maddie.

Nick was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Virginia Vannatter-Harmon (1955-1980) of Fayetteville; aunt, Laura Jayne Harmon-Repass (1963-2016) of Princeton; great grandmother, Juanita Frances Claypool-Cook-Rutherford (1923-2016) of Crab Orchard; and great uncle, Denny Ray Rutherford (1961-2008) of Crab Orchard.

Nick is survived by his grandparents, Zela Audrey-Cook-Harmon-Hess (1943-2020) and Donald "Don" Hess of Princeton; father and stepmother, Steve Harmon and Chris Harmon of FL; brother, Christopher Harmon & wife Tiffany Harmon of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister, Heather Harmon-Galloway & husband Jeremy Galloway of FL; aunts, Leslie Harmon-Mills & husband Brandon Mills, and Sheryl Harmon of Princeton; uncles, Danny Harmon & wife Rhonda Harmon of Crab Orchard, and Randy Repass of Princeton; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

Nicholas' remains will be cremated. In lieu of a funeral service, family and friends will hold a memorial cookout in celebration of his life.
