BRUNSWICK - Patricia Mae Chambers, 75, of 9 Poplar Drive, went home to be with her Lord on July 13, 2018, while at home surrounded by loved ones.

She was born in Boston, on March 22, 1943, the daughter of Gracia and Philip Hendricks. Her family moved to Maine when she was three years old. She was a graduate of Newport High School and attended Farmington State Teacher's College. She married Robert W. Chambers in Newport, Maine, on August 31, 1962, just before he began his naval career.

As a Navy wife Pat lived various places throughout the country, including spending 15 years in San Diego, California, before returning to Maine in 1985.

After accepting the Lord in 1966 she was actively involved in church through singing, teaching, and mentoring Single Young Adults and leading Ladies' Bible Studies.

Pat loved the Lord, her family, and church. She also loved music and was an avid reader, especially in her final days.

She was predeceased by a son, Robert W. Chambers, Jr., who went home to be with the Lord on June 2, 1996.

She is survived by her husband of Brunswick; a son, Scott A. Chambers and his wife, Danna, of Topsham; as well as two sisters, and three brothers; and two grandchildren, Shiloh and Caitlin Chambers.

A private graveside service for family will be held in August at Growstown Cemetery.
